Bengaluru: Rowdy-sheeter V Nagaraj who is on run since last 15 days, following police raid on his home and seizure of crores of demonetised old currency notes, has now issued a notice to city police commissioner for using the moniker ‘Bomb Naga’ while making reference to him.
According to a notice sent to city police commissioner Praveen Sood, V Nagaraj has pointed out that the High Court had directed not to use the word ‘Bomb’ against his name. “Even after High Court direction, police are using the name ‘Bomb Naga’ while making references to me. It is clear violation of the HC direction,” he stated in the notice.
V Nagaraj alleged that after police raids on his home on April 14, officials are using the word Bomb against his name.
It can be recalled that in June 2015, state High Court directed police and media not to use the suffix Bomb against his name.
Meanwhile city police have formed around 10 teams to search Nagaraj’s hideouts.
