Bengaluru: The state Election Commission has made elaborate arrangements to ensure that Covid-19 patients too are in a position to cast their votes in the Sira and RR Nagar by election.
The infected shall cast votes between 5 pm and 6 pm on November 3.
According to the authorities, voters shall follow all the SoPs and special ambulances will be arranged to ferry the COVID positive voters from the Covid-19 care center.
Special vehicles will be arranged even for the primary and secondary contacts of the Covid-19 patients. Those who want to cast vote shall inform the nearest Covid-19 control room to make all these arrangements.
According to the authorities, health department staff will be deputed in all the voting centers to guide the officials and the Covid 19 patients
