Cyril Prasad stated, “We issued a legal notice to Sridevi in May before filing the divorce petition, outlining the reasons for the divorce. Their marriage, which took place in 2018, had a significant age gap. Sridevi allegedly tried to control the family, which Yuva initially did not recognize. She urged Yuva to invest in various businesses, resulting in financial losses. Despite supporting her IAS aspirations financially, Sridevi attended classes in Delhi for only two days before having a fight with Yuva. These reasons contributed to our 54-page divorce petition.”

Sridevi is accused of mentally harassing and insulting Yuva. Allegedly, she has over ₹3 crore deposited in her personal account, taken from Dr. Rajkumar’s academy and a learning app, with which she purchased twenty plots in Mysore. Sridevi’s lawyer responded to the notice, claiming her current mental condition is not good and requested three months. Despite having two days to file for divorce, Sridevi sent a detailed notice with allegations against Yuva.

Response from Sridevi Bairappa

Sridevi Bairappa responded to the accusations via her Instagram account, stating, “It is very unfortunate and hurtful that a person who is supposed to maintain professional harmony is making low-level false allegations about the character of a woman publicly. Despite enduring many pains over the past few months to preserve the family’s honor, it is unfortunate that such low-level allegations are being made without respecting my decency and humanity. I believe that truth and justice will surely prevail.”
