Bengaluru: The police have arrested a Sandalwood actress and her mother for orchestrating the murder of rowdy-sheeter Sunil.
Rowdy-sheeter Sunil was brutally murdered at a farm house in Rampura, Channaptna on January 29. The Channapatna rural police who have been investigating the case have arrested actress Priyanka and her mother Nagamma.
The police had earlier arrested suspects Manu alias Madegowda and Shivaraj aka ‘Kudure.’ Upon interrogation, the two accused have given up the names of Priyanka and her mother.
According to the sources, Sunil was the driver of Priyanka and also her relative. Priyanka removed Sunil from the driver’s job as he was an accused in a murder case. After that Sunil started extorting money from Priyanka frustrated by which the actress took the extreme step of having him murdered. It is said that Priyanka gave a contract to her relatives to kill Sunil.
