Bengaluru: Former minister, AICC secretary and Yamakanmardi MLA, Satish Jarakiholi will contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
His brother and minister, Ramesh Jarakiholi has informed that Satish will be contesting either from the Belagavi or the Chikkodi Lok Sabha constituency. “Presently, the Chikkodi constituency is represented by the senior party leader Prakash Hukkeri. Wa have held the first round of talks on the issue and it has been confirmed that Satish will be contesting in the Lok Sabha election. If he chooses to contest from the Chikkodi constituency, Hukkeri will move to the Belagavi constituency,” he said.
