Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister C N Ashwath Narayan, who is also the state higher education minister informed that schools and colleges are expected to be opened for students in November, after Dasara holidays.
Speaking to the agitating candidates who are waiting for the PU lecturers’ appointment order, he stated that due to Covid 19 all the educational institutes were shut.
“However, after the Dasara vacation, we are planning to open,” he said.
His statement comes amidst reports of sharp fall in the Covid 19 cases in all the districts except Bengaluru.
It can be recalled that the state government announced Dasara holiday for all the educational institutes till October 30.
