Bengaluru: Officials from the University of Dundee in Scotland have announced that they will visit Karnataka in September to discuss collaboration opportunities in the higher education and research sectors with the State Government.
Higher Education C. N. Minister Ashwath Narayan paid a visit to the University of Manchester in the UK on Saturday April 21.
“”The collaboration will provide many opportunities for Karnataka students to develop their skills. Moreover, we contribute to the design updated programmes for degree, post-graduate, and PhD students,” the university officials told Narayan.
The collaboration will include a two-year visit to India by the university’s teaching faculty. Students from Karnataka have been invited to take classes at the university. Narayan has been in the UK for a few days and gave a keynote speech at the Commonwealth Education Conference on Friday.
