Bengaluru: KPCC president DK Shivakumar has rejigged the party state unit disciplinary committee to ensure party state unit will not be a divided house.
Former deputy chairman of the Rajya Sabha K Rahman Khan will head this committee. Niveditha Alva, son of another party senior leader Margaret Alva will be the convener of the committee.
The committee consists senior leaders including KB Koliwad, J Alexander, Rani Satish, TV Maruti, Mallajamma, Shashidhar Hegde as the members.
The committee is asked to submit reports on a weekly basis on the party’s internal affairs. However, no recommendation powers have been given to it.
