Bengaluru: Senior IPS officer M N Reddi has been made the new intelligence chief in the upgraded post.
In a minor reshuffle of IPS officers on Wednesday, the state government made M N Reddi Director General of Police (Intelligence) in place of IGP, B Dayananda, who has been made Commissioner of Transport and Road Safety. Reddi was Director General and Commandant General, Home Guards, Ex Officio Director Fire Force. Neelamani N Raju has replaced Reddi.
Rajvir Pratap Sharma, Managing Director, Karnataka Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited, is additional director general of police, Bangalore Metropolitan Task Force, Prashant Kumar Thankur is additional director general of police, forest cell, N Chaitra is Superintendent of Police, Railways Police, Ram Niwas Sepat is Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Crime, Bengaluru city) and Anoop A Shetty is Superintendent of Police, Chikkaballapur.
