Bengaluru: Senior Kannada journalist Gangadhar Murthy was killed in a road accident that occurred in front of Town Hall here on Sunday January 23.
A lorry went out of control after hitting a road divider and flipped over. 49-year-old Gangadhar who was on his way to work on his motorbike came under the lorry that had lost control after hitting divider. Though he was rushed to Victoria Hospital, he succumbed to injuries.
The deceased is survived by his wife and two children. Halasur Gate Traffic Police have registered a case.
