Bengaluru: Launching a scathing attack on former chief minister Siddaramaiah, who recently said that the BJP government at the state came to power through operation Kamala, Minister KS Eshwarappa said that it Siddaramaiah, who is the product of one such operations, which led him to shift loyalties from Janata Dal (S) to the Congress.
“He is a stupid man, do I have to answer him,” questioned Eshwarappa asking the Congress if no offers were made to Siddaramaiah when he broke ties with the JDS. “If nothing was offered to Siddaramaiah, why did he break ties with the JD(S). He is a foolish man. The BJP has no need to answer him. He cheated the JD(S) and was ousted from the party. He contested from Chamundeshwari and lost and then he changed his constituency to Badami for survival. It is the language of Siddaramaiah that will lead him down the path of failure,” said Eshwarappa who was recently sworn-in as Rural Development and Panchayat Raj minister.
Recalling the incidents of drought during Siddaramaiah’s tenure and during the tenure of the coalition government, KSE said that they never bothered going to the people to solve their problem. “With few days of being sworn in as the Chief Minister, Yediyurappa plunged into action and make sure that he was with his people during the time of crisis. Nowadays. Siddaramaiah has been taking a dig at the CM relentlessly. It is evident that he is criticising the CM for the sake of criticism. One must understand that the government is sincerely working for the cause of people,” said Eshwarappa.
