Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has finally revealed his “lungi” secret at a government programme here in Bengaluru on September 15.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating High-Risk Pregnancy Centre at Vani Vilas Hospital on Friday, CM said, “Earlier I used to wear pants. But gradually I developed skin dryness. Even after treatment it was not cured completely. In 1993, one of my close associates advised me to wear lungi.
As the population is increasing, deceases are also on the rise. But any decease can be cured if we get treated on time. Our government intends to provide better health facilities to all. Nephro-Urology is functioning from last 10 years. Poor people will benefit from this newly inaugurated centre,” he added.
Minister for Medical Education Dr. Sharana Prakash Patil and MLA Zamir Ahmed were present on the occasion.
