Bengaluru: Former CM BS Yeddyurappa has caused embarrassment to the BJP by stating that the Airstrikes conducted by the IAF under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will help the BJP in the upcoming polls in a big way.
Responding to the statement former CM Siddaramaiah has come down heavily upon BSY and said that playing politics over the war is not an acceptable mentality.
In a series of tweets, Siddaramaiah has said that he condemns BSY for dreaming of ‘political gains’ in front of the dead bodies of the martyred soldiers. This shows the greed of BSY. “The tears of the families of the soldiers who died recently have not yet stopped and BSY’s seat-matrix has kicked off,” he said
He then sought an explanation from the Prime Minister over BSY’s statement and said that the latter’s statement has compelled all to doubt the intentions of the BJP ruling at the centre.
