Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) which is probing the multi-crore IMA scam has hired doctors to keep a round-the-clock check on the health of main accused Mansoor Khan.
According to sources, the SIT, which took Khan to its custody on Saturday, is providing foolproof security to him. “Three teams have been formed by the SIT to investigate Khan,” said sources.
Sources also said that the food, water, coffee and tea being supplied to Khan is also being tested before they are given to him. “The SIT is working as a world-class police team. It is led by senior IPS officer Ravikanthe Gowda and S Girish. If the state government does not disturb the team, it is all set to take the investigation to a logical end,” explained sources in the state police, while heaping praises on the SIT.
