Bengaluru: A complaint filed with the SIT probing the murder of Gauri Lankesh alleges the possibility of Ramachandrapur Math Seer’s involvement in the murder of journalist, activist who through her publication had written a series of articles against Sri Raghaveshwara Bharatiteertha Swamiji.
The complainants, Premalata Shastri and Divakar Shastri raised apprehensions of the seer’s involvement and urged the probing agency to look into this possibility.
Premalata Shastri who had earlier accused the seer of raping her cited that since Gauri had published articles against the seer during the rape investigation the possibility of him or his followers killing the journalist should be investigated.
Meanwhile, it is gathered that the SIT may summon the seer to record his statement on the issue.
