Bengaluru: The woman in the CD case involving former Karnataka minister Ramesh Jarkiholi has written to Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka of the Karnataka High Court, demanding that the court hear her case.

The woman in the CD case has written to the chief justice of the Karnataka High Court, requesting that the court order the state government to provide her with security and oversee the investigation.

The woman has said that her family was compelled to give a statement to the Special Investigation Team after receiving a “threat” from Ramesh Jarkiholi (SIT). She also claims the SIT is working along with the former Karnataka minister.

“I humbly request that the court take up the case and order the state government to provide me with security and oversee the investigation. [Ramesh] Jarkiholi is posing a threat to me. My family has been compelled to make a statement to the Special Investigations Team (SIT) said the woman.”

“Ramesh Jarakiholi is a highly influential person,” the woman wrote in the letter, “and has already threatened me in public, of going to any extent against me to clear my charges against him.”

“Through several press conferences, I have already expressed my grave concern about Ramesh Jarakiholi and his followers’ constant threats against me and my parents. I’ve also expressed my concern that Ramesh Jarakiholi, a powerful figure, is posing a threat to myself and my parents. I’ve also asked the Special Investigation Team for protection.

“Despite my fears, the SIT has so far failed to provide security to my parents and me, in collusion with Ramesh Jarakiholi,” the woman said.

The woman went on to say that the SIT was working on Ramesh Jarkiholi’s orders and that the state government was shielding him. “Ramesh Jarakiholi has the ability to kill me at any time and in any place, as well as destroy all evidence of his offenses. And the SIT is fully obedient to Ramesh Jarakiholi’s music “she mentioned.
She said that the statements “made through my parents that, I am kidnapped is baseless and my family has been pressured to make such statement.”
