SM Krishna to walk into BJP house on March 17?

Bengaluru: Looks like all speculations connected to former chief minister and veteran leader S M Krishna’s next political decision have ended as unconfirmed sources have revealed that Krishna has made up his mind to join the BJP and without any further delay, if all goes well than the veteran leader will be in BJP folds on March 17 or 18.

Krishna, 84 had called off a long-standing association with the Congress Party on January 29, alleging that the party had been sidelining him due to his age.

After Krishna quit Congress, the BJP leaders like B S Yeddyurappa and others had made attempts to convince Krishna to join the BJP so that he could fortify the BJP further. It is said that a recent private meeting between Krishna- BSY and former deputy CM R Ashok fructified and Krishna may be a BJP man on March 17 or 18. It is said that Krishna accepted the invitation from BJP National President Amit Shah.

As per sources, Krishna joining BJP especially when the state is running in Assembly polls has strengthened BJP by many folds. The battered image of the Congress in the state may further get beatings when Krishna for sure will reveal several Congress secrets while working for the BJP.

If sources are to be believed than, Krishna will plunge into action by campaigning for BJP candidates in Nanjangudu and Gundlupet bypolls.
