Bengaluru: A significant confrontation is ongoing between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. The mortal remains of Captain MV Pranjal, who lost his life in an encounter with terrorists, were brought to Bengaluru.
The body of Captain Pranjal from Karnataka, who sacrificed his life in an anti-militancy operation, arrived at the HAL airport on November 22. This follows the martyrdom of five soldiers, including MV Pranjal, in a counter-terrorism operation in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir.
At the airport, Captain Pranjal’s body was received by his wife and parents. Subsequently, military officers paid their respects to him. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Power Minister K J George, Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot, BJP state president Vijayendra, and MP Tejasvi Surya were among those who bid their final farewells to Pranjal at the HAL airport.
