Bengaluru: The southwest monsoon has hit Karnataka on Tuesday May 31, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD authorities are keeping a watch on its progress.
The southwest monsoon has advanced into more parts of the central Arabian Sea, some parts of Karnataka, the entire Kerala, some more parts of Tamil Nadu, the entire southeast Bay of Bengal, some more parts of the southwest Bay of Bengal, the majority of the east-central Bay of Bengal, and some parts of the west-central and northeast Bay of Bengal, said IMD officials.
