Bengaluru: As the state coalition government feels the heat of resignation by over 15 MLAs from Congress here on Saturday, July 6, every other leader in the coalition seems to be jittery. Even though the media personnel volleyed questions on the sudden political development, many coalition leaders refused to answer promptly.

The MLAs who had reached the office of Karnataka State Legislative Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar to submit their resignation found that he was not present. It was later known that he had left the office and moved towards Jayadeva Hospital to check on the health condition of one his relatives undergoing treatment there.

Meanwhile, the media personnel followed Ramesh Kumar till the hospital. Enraged by this, he took on the reporters present at the hospital.

He said, “Are you all humans? Do you have any shame? Is there any essence of humanity present in you? I have come to check on the health condition of a relative and you all have come here with political questions. Get out of here.”

According to recent reports, around 13 MLAs have already submitted their resignation to Speaker Ramesh Kumar’s secretary.
