Bengaluru: The state capital will be the stage of high political drama on Tuesday, July 9, with several major political developments taking place.
The day will start with the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meet, which will be presided by former CM Siddaramaiah. Right now, the Congress party’s strategy is recommending the disqualification of MLAs who absent themselves from the meeting.
At 11 AM, Speaker K Ramesh Kumar will verify the resignation letters of the 13 rebel MLAs. He is expected to announce his decision by 1 PM today.
Meanwhile, Shivajinagar MLA Roshan Baig is expected to meet the Speaker today and tender his resignation. He has already announced his intention to join the BJP.
