Bengaluru: Health Minister B Sreeramulu has tendered an emotional apology to DK Shivakumar, the Congress strongman who is presently facing probe by the Enforcement Directorate sleuths in connection to an alleged money-laundering case.

A couple of days ago, Sreeramulu had said “Uppu tindonu neeru kudile beku’, implying that one reaps what he sows while speaking about DKShi. However, on Monday, an emotional DKShi was seen speaking to media with moist eyes. During his emotional talk about how he is being victimised by the BJP after he was denied break from probe even on auspicious Gauri-Ganesha festival, DKShi had made a reference to what Sreeramulu said.

Clarifying on the same, Sreeramulu tendered a public apology to DKShi and said “DKShi Anna (brother), forgive me if I hurt your sentiments in any way by making that statement. My statement comes purely on the political context and not on personal context.”
“Law will take its own course,” he further added.
