Bengaluru: SSLC evaluation works will start on Wednesday in 228 valuation centres across the state. Over 72,000 teachers will participate in the valuation works.
According to the sources in the KSEEB, over 8 lakh students appeared for the SSLC examination this year. The valuation works are expected to be completed in next 10 days time.
According to the authorities, this year the marks secured by the students will be uploaded to the server directly. All these years after the valuation, answer scripts were sent to Bengaluru for the data entry. But this year the teachers who evaluate the answer scripts need to enter the marks directly to the KSEEB server which expected to bring down the number of days required for the announcement of the result.
“But out of 72,000 teachers who are asked to join the evaluation works, many are expected to give a miss due to the Lok Sabha election related works,” explained an officer.
