Several stabbing incidents were reported in Indiranagar, Bengaluru on Saturday, leaving the local community shaken. According to the filed reports, a single attacker was suspected to be involved in all three assaults. Descriptions provided by the victims indicate that the assailant was a young male, approximately in his 20s, and he was dressed in a black cap, red shirt, and white trousers at the time of the incidents.
The victims, consisting of two street food vendors and a motorcyclist, were reportedly attacked on the evening of February 8, between 9:30 and 10:00 PM, near the well-known 100 Feet Road area. The motorcyclist recounted that the assault took place after the attacker requested a ride. Meanwhile, the two street vendors were assaulted due to disputes over payment and the unavailability of food, as per the police reports.
Authorities have expressed concern over the series of attacks and are actively investigating the situation. Senior police officers have called for calm among local residents, reassuring them that the situation is under control. They emphasized that there is no immediate threat to public safety and urged the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
