Bengaluru: The state Congress will start ‘save democracy, save Constitution’ protest against the ruling BJP government, on Monday, July 27.
The protest will be held in front of Raj Bhavan at 1.30 pm, informed sources adding that the main intention of the protest is to condemn the mockery of democracy by the BJP in Madhya Pradesh and subsequently in Rajasthan.
It may be recalled that the Scindia crisis had toppled the Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh and now, Rajasthan government too is on the verge of collapse, after rebellion by Sachin Pilot.
The protest intends to criticise the tactics of the BJP, aiming at toppling the Congress governments.
In Karnataka, the protest will be held under the leadership of opposition leader and former CM Siddaramaiah and new KPCC president D K Shivakumar.
