Bengaluru: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has formed four teams of ministers for a statewide drought study. These teams will visit all the taluk headquarters and hold review meetings with the officials from various departments and submit a final report to the state government.
According to sources at the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), a team led by revenue minister R V Deshpande will visit the Belagavi region. This team will include ministers like Ramesh Jarakiholi, M C Managoli, B Z Jameer Ahmed Khan, and Shivananda Patil.
The RDPR minister Krishna Bairegowda-led team, comprising of H D Revanna, K J George, U T Khader, G T Devegowda, C S Puttaraju, S R Mahesh, Jayamala and C Puttaranga Shetty, will tour the Mysuru region.
The Cooperation minister Bandeppa Kashempur-led team will visit the Kalaburgi region. This team will comprise of ministers Venkatarao Nadagouda, Rajashekar Patil Humnabad, Priyank Kharge and R Shankar.
The Bengaluru region will be visited by a team led by agriculture minister N H Shivashankara Reddy. D K Shivakumar, Venkataramanappa, S R Shrinivas and D C Thammanna will be the members of this team.
