Bengaluru: Amid Covid-19 scare, the state government will take a final call on holding the SSLC examination as per the schedule on March 23.
As per the SSLC time table, the examination will start on March 27. Over 8 lakhs students are appearing for the examination.
Even though the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has denied any possibility of examination postponement, the state government called a meeting of senior officials on March 23 to decide whether to go ahead with the schedule or postpone the same.
This needs to be rethought as 30 students will write the exam in every classroom across the state. Primary and Secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar is expected to make a final announcement in this regard.
