State to observe three days mourning for Union minister Ananth Kumar

Bengaluru: The state will observe three days mourning in respect of deceased leader Ananth Kumar. A government order has been issued early on Monday morning.

DCM Dr G Parameshwar held a telephonic conversation with senior officials of the police department on the final rites of the departed leader. Senior politicians from across the country are expected to visit Bengaluru to pay their last respect.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind and Chief Ministers of at least 14 states are expected to arrive at Bengaluru. “The traffic on the KIAL road is monitored,” said sources.

BJP senior-most leader, Ananth Kumar’s political mentor L K Advani too is expected to arrive at Bengaluru by 12 noon.
