In a touching moment that’s resonating widely online, a recent video featuring Instagram influencer and entrepreneur Sadeev Singh is showcasing Bengaluru’s renowned warmth and hospitality.

The widely shared clip captures Singh wandering the streets of Bengaluru with a unique mission — to experience a traditional, home-cooked breakfast offered by a local family. Approaching a house, he politely tells a woman at the entrance, “I’m from Delhi and would love to taste an authentic local breakfast. May I eat at your home?”

Without hesitation, she replies, “Let me check with uncle,” referring to her husband. Moments later, the man steps out, greets Singh with a smile, and graciously invites him inside.

The family then serves him Ragi Mudde, Karnataka’s beloved millet-based dish — not just offering food, but extending warmth and sincerity. They also encouraged Singh to remain steadfast in his journey and ambitions. The visit concluded with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and memorable photos. “People in Bengaluru are incredibly sweet,” Singh later wrote, summarizing the experience.

The video has drawn widespread appreciation on social media, with viewers applauding the family’s generosity as a reflection of Bengaluru’s true spirit — especially amidst headlines that sometimes overshadow its inclusiveness.

One emotional commenter noted, “They probably saw their son in you. Thank you for visiting them.” Another added, “This is the Bengaluru I know — full of kindness.”

Ragi Mudde, too, found its fans. One user quipped, “If you’re served Ragi Mudde, you’ve found the right home.”
