Bengaluru: Endowment Department Minister Shashikala Jolle has ordered all the temples under Endowment Department to submit all the pending audit report by January 30, 2022 stating that the non-submission of reports casts a doubt on the functioning of such temples among the public.
She was speaking in a meeting at Vikasa Soudha with chief executive officers of A and B category temples under the Endowment Department on Tuesday November 16, and took stock of the administration, and the development issues faced in such temples.
Minister informed that there were 207 A category temples, and 139 B category temples in all. Thus, non-submission of timely audit reports will only cast doubts on the functioning and administration of such temples. It is compulsory for all the temples to submit their audit reports hence forth, Jolle said and warned that non-submission will lead to strict actions against the officers concerned of that particular temples.
