Bengaluru: Sudha Murthy, who has won the hearts of millions of people through her social service will retire from the Infosys Foundation as the president on December 31, 2021.
She will have completed 25 years as the foundation’s head by December 31, 2021. She took over the helms of the foundation in the year 1996.
She expressed her decision to step down from her position to the foundation board of trustees. She stated that the foundation has opened her eyes for the needs of the common man.
Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, lead independent director and chair of the CSR committee in Infosys, hailed Mrs Murthy’s contributions to the society through the foundation.
