Bengaluru: Political leaders and sugar factory owners visited Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy at his home office ‘Krishna’ on Thursday, November 22, to discuss the payment dues of sugarcane cultivators in the state.
Congress leaders such as S R Patil, Anand Nyamagouda, Shrimant Patil, Ramesh Jarakiholi, Satish Jarkiholi and Balachandra Jarkiholi, BJP’s Murugesh Nirani and sugar factory owners, were reportedly in attendance at the meeting.
Previously, on Tuesday, November 20, the CM had, in his 6-hour long meeting with the sugarcane cultivators, assured that he would hold a meeting with the sugar factory owners and get them to settle the dues.
