Doddaballapur: A ten-year-old boy who was watching his online lessons died in a mysterious manner after his neck reportedly got entangled in a clothe cradle, inside the house, at Dargajogahalli, on outskirts of Doddaballapur.
The deceased is Vishwas, a student of Class V in Jnana Ganga Educational Institutions.
The parents of Vishwas had asked him to go into a room and watch his online class videos at 4 pm on Sunday. Since he also has a younger sibling, the parents had tied a clothe cradle inside the room and Vishwas is believed to have sat inside the cradle to see the videos.
When he did not venture out of the room for a long time, his parents went into the room and found him motionless inside the cradle. His parents say that he might have got stuck inside the cradle and died.
This death has made way for several questions. The locals are now asking why parents had allowed him to go to the room all alone and how it is possible that parents did not even once visit the room to see if the child was learning or not.
Doddaballapur police has registered a case.
