Bengaluru: City police commissioner T Suneel Kumar and other senior police officers rushed to the KSR Railway Station, popularly known as the city railway station, after a suspicious object was found.
It all started when a passenger found a suspicious object on the Patna-bound Sanghamitra Express, which was supposed to depart from platform number 1.
When he began to scream “bomb bomb”, fear-stricken passengers began to run to safety.
As news of the incident spread, senior police officers, including compol T Suneel Kumar, rushed to the spot. He stated that prima facie, it is not an explosive object.
The police have launched an investigation and in the meanwhile, bomb squads have rushed to the railway station and security has been beefed up across the city.
