Bengaluru: Having completed a decade as one of the most sought-after road races in the world, Bengaluru is all set to be perfect hosts yet again for the 11th edition of the Tata Consultancy Services World 10K. Promoters Procam International today announced the commencement of registration on the 8th of March 2018 for the world’s premier 10K run, eighth under the TCS banner. Scheduled for Sunday, May 13, 2018, the TCS World 10K, will be customarily flagged off from the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.
This IAAF Gold Label race, is assorted under 5 categories and will host participants across the country as well as a highly competitive line-up of the World’s best track & field and road runners. It will also witness amateur runners competing in the Open 10K, the running enthusiasts running the 6 km Majja Run, the 4 km Senior Citizens Run for participants above the age of 60 and the Champions with Disability.
Registrations open on the 8th of March 2018 and close on 20th April 2018, or earlier, subject to the availability of running slots for all categories.
Celebrating his continued association with the TCS World 10K as the Face of the Event, Superstar Puneeth Rajkumar urged Bengaluru, to get on to the streets.
