Tejaswini Ananth Kumar will be BJP’s candidate from Bengaluru South

Bengaluru: Former DCM R Ashok announced that Tejaswini Ananth Kumar, wife of former union minister Late Ananth Kumar will be the party candidate from Bengaluru South Lok Sabha constituency.

An announcement in this regard was made on Monday night after a meeting between MLAs of the constituency at R Ashok’s residence.

Beside R Ashok, local MLAs including Uday Garudachar, V Somanna, Ravi Subramanya and others were present in the meeting that unanimously endorsed the name of Tejaswini Ananth Kumar.

It can be recalled that Ananth Kumar represented the constituency since 1996 and served for over 20 years.

Presently, Tejaswini is involved in various social service activities through her Adamya Chetana foundation.
