Bengaluru: Chaos was witnessed in Church Street, Bengaluru, after miscreants graffitied anti-CAA, anti-NRC, anti-NPR and anti-Modi slurs on the walls and store stutters in the area.

Controversial slogans calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘fascist’ were also seen written on the walls. “Free Kashmir” messages were also seen on the walls.

On Tuesday, January 14, after miscreants defaced the storefronts and walls in Church Street, activists attached to the Bajrang Dal were seen painting over the graffiti to erase them.

The activists demanded that action be taken against those who graffited the walls and said all those who opposed the CAA and NRC are anti-nationals.

When an unidentified person asked the activists what was so wrong about writing on the walls, an argument broke out between him and the Bajrang Dal activists. A large number of Bajrang Dal activists were gathered at the scene and tensions rose. Soon, the police came and took the unidentified person into custody, however, the situation remained tense for some time.
