Three arrested in housebreaking cases

Bengaluru: The police have arrested three persons for allegedly involving in two housebreakings in Peenya police station limits in the city.

The police have identified the arrested persons as Rajesh (20), a resident of 2nd Cross, Mallasandra, Anand (26) of Obalapura village, Nelamangala taluk, and Balaji (27), a resident of 26th A Main, Kamakshipalya.

The police have recovered Rs 35,000 in cash, 55 gms of gold and silver jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh. Peenya police have registered a case. According to the police, a resident of Peenya had complained to the police on October 12 stating that some thieves entered his house and made away with Rs 40,000 cash. Another resident complained to Peenya police on October 14 stating that some thieves entered his house and made away with 70 gms of gold jewellery.
