Bengaluru: Road accidents claimed three lives at three different locations in Bengaluru. A 60-year-old man was run over by a lorry on Mysuru Road near RV College in Kengeri police limits on Saturday night.
The police have identified the victim as Sathyanarayana, a former employee of NGEF and a resident of Dubasipalya. The police have arrested lorry driver Suji George and a case was registered against him at Kengeri Police Station.
In another incident, a 23-eyar-old fruit juice shop owner was run over by an unidentified vehicle at R S Palya in Fraser Town police station limits. The police have identified the victim as Shaktivel from Janakiram Layout, Banaswadi.
In another road accident, a 53-year-old pedestrian was run over by a car. The police have identified the victim as Naganna Gowda, a daily wage earner from Raichur. According to the police, the victim was crossing the road when the car hit him. The driver rushed the injured person to a hospital for treatment, but the latter succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital. A case has been registered at Chikkajala police station.
