Three more from Bengaluru test positive for COVID-19; Tally rises to 601

Bengaluru: Three more people from the Bengaluru Urban district have tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Saturday, May 2 evening. This brings the state’s total tally to 601.

All three new cases are contacts of Patient 565.

One is a 38-year-old woman, another is a 26-year-old woman and the third is a 30-year-old man.

Earlier in the day, nine people tested positive for COVID-19.

The 601 cases include 25 deaths and 271 discharges.
