Bengaluru: Delhi police arrested three persons including an Afghan resident for allegedly plotting the murder of the RSS leader from Mangaluru, Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat.
According to the information shared by the Delhi police, they have arrested three persons on the definite clues shared by the intelligence agencies.
“One of the arrested is an Afghan resident. He has nexus with the underworld,” informed Delhi police.
“All started with the arrest of a Kasargod resident. After his investigation, two from New Delhi were arrested in connection with allegedly plotting conspiracy to murder Bhat. First two accused were arrested from New Delhi while another from Kasargod,” informed the police.
“All the arrested have been brought to New Delhi for further investigation,” they added.
It can be recalled that coastal Karnataka was tensed following the news that Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat was in the hit list of the terrorists. Even though the state police had denied any such threats, now the Delhi police confirmed the same.
