Thousands of people gathered in Bengaluru on Friday for the Tiranga Yatra, organized by the state government to show solidarity with the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor, a retaliatory action following the Pahalgam massacre. The event, which started at KR Circle and ended at Minsk Chowk, saw active participation from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, and the general public.
The yatra witnessed enthusiastic support from government and private sector employees, as well as various associations and community members.
During his speech, Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar emphasized the importance of supporting the Indian Army. “We should all support the struggle our soldiers are waging to protect the country. Our soldiers are our pride,” he stated, highlighting the collective sentiment of national pride and solidarity.
The event reflected strong public backing for the Indian Army and its efforts in the ongoing conflict.
