Bengaluru: A one-and-a-half-year-old girl is battling for her life after falling from the first floor of a residential building in Nayandahalli, West Bengaluru. The incident, which occurred on April 7, has raised concerns over child safety at home.
Accident caught on CCTV
According to police, the accident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the building. The toddler, who was playing inside the house, is believed to have wandered out through the main door unnoticed before accidentally falling from the first floor.
At the time of the incident, the child’s mother was reportedly in the kitchen boiling milk, unaware that the child had moved बाहर towards the entrance.
Severe injuries, rushed to hospital
The fall resulted in serious head injuries to the toddler. On discovering her injured child lying on the ground, the mother reportedly fainted due to shock.
