Bengaluru: A one-and-a-half-year-old child died on the spot after accidentally falling from the window of an apartment. The incident has been reported from the Nanjundappa Layout under the Begur police station limits.
The deceased has been identified as Sophia, daughter of Balasubramanya and Lavanya.
“Balasubramanya and Lavanya are working in a private firm. Their house is located on the second floor of a residential complex. On Friday evening, Sophia was playing on the window and as its rods are wide open, she slipped through the window and fell. She died on the spot,” informed the police.
“The girl was taken to a local hospital immediately. But she died due to brain injuries,” police added.
