Bengaluru: The State Cabinet on Friday gave its nod for toll collection on 1,530 km of roads along 19 stretches of state highways. The date from which the toll collection will begin will be announced soon.
According to official sources, these roads have been developed by the Karnataka Road Development Corporation and under the Karnataka State Highways Improvement Programme (KSHIP).
Following is the list of stretches of roads which will be tolled:
Mudgal to Gangavati (74 kms); Padubidri to Karkala (28 kms); Haveri to Hangal (33kms); Dharwad to Saundatti (36 kms); Hoskote to Chintamani (52kms); Thinthini to Kalmala (74kms); Dobbspet to Kamburi in Andhra Pradesh (91kms); Navalgund to Mundargi (80kms); Gubbi to Yediyur (49kms); Yediyur to Mandya( 60kms); Davangere to Birur (149 kms); Saundatti to Pattadkal (130 kms); Hangal to Tadasa (144kms); Shikaripur to Hangal (128kms); Malavalli to Koratagere(150 kms); Mudhol to Nippani (108kms); Sindhanur to Kushtagi (75kms); Hubballi to Lakshmeshwar (43 kms); Ballari to Mooka (26 kms).
