Bengaluru: Former minister, senior party leader DK Shivakumar stated that in Congress party blackmail tactics will not work and that the topi (which means hat and here he is referring to power) too changes within five minutes in the party.
Speaking to the reporters at his residence, DK Shivakumar stated that in Congress the pressure tactics have never yielded results. “If anyone uses the blackmail tactic he can be called an idiot,” he said.
“Even I am not in a position to pressurise anybody,” he said.
His statement has come amidst reports that former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has opposed his elevation as the KPCC president when All India Congress Committee (AICC) observers visited the city.
