Bengaluru: A man in his 40s, identified as Mohan Kumar, was found dead by the Amrutahalli police in northeastern Bengaluru on Tuesday. According to reports, Kumar’s wife has alleged that her husband was threatened by another individual regarding a theft case registered at the VV Puram police station. She believes this threat drove him to take his own life.
Kumar, a painter, reportedly slit his throat with a sharp object, and his body was discovered in an empty plot near Jakkur Double Road. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Sajeeth VJ stated that they are currently awaiting the autopsy and forensic reports to gather more information on the incident.
