Bengaluru witnessed a series of fatal road accidents, resulting in the deaths of four individuals since Wednesday evening.

Brothers Killed in Bike Crash

Shakeel Bashir (23) and Aslam Bashir (22), owners of a restaurant in Ashok Nagar, lost their lives in a bike accident near Anepalya Junction around 4:45 am on Thursday. Reports indicate that they were not wearing helmets when their vehicle collided with an electric pole. The Ashok Nagar traffic police confirmed that both were declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

Security Guard Dies in Collision

At 5 pm on Wednesday, Raktim Saikiya (23), a security guard from Assam, was killed when his bike collided head-on with a cab on Mylanahalli-Hunachur Road. The incident, which took place near a school in Kadayarapanahalli, also left his pillion rider, Bisla Boiraj, injured. Saikiya succumbed to his injuries en route to a private hospital in Devanahalli.

Welder Loses Control, Dies on Newly Built Road

In another tragic accident, Vimal Kumar (33), a welder from Tamil Nadu, died after losing control of his bike around 12:30 am on Thursday in Shivarama Karanth Layout. Kumar, a resident of Lakshmipuram, Indiranagar, was returning home when he crashed on a newly constructed road, as per Jalahalli traffic police.
