Bengaluru: The South Western Railway has announced multiple train disruptions—cancellations, diversions, and rescheduling—due to ongoing work on bridge number 834 between Whitefield and KR Puram stations.

Here’s what commuters need to know:

  • Train No. 06527 (Bangarapet–SMVT Bengaluru MEMU Special) will be cancelled on April 12, 15, 19, and 22.

  • Train No. 06528 (SMVT Bengaluru–Bangarapet MEMU Special) will not operate on April 13, 16, 20, and 23.

  • Train No. 16521 (Bangarapet–KSR Bengaluru MEMU Express) will be short-terminated at Whitefield, skipping the Whitefield–KSR stretch on April 15 and 22.

  • Train No. 06269 (Mysuru–SMVT Bengaluru Daily Passenger Special) will be diverted via KSR Bengaluru, Yeshwantpur, Hebbal, Banaswadi, and SMVT Bengaluru on April 12, 15, 19, and 22. It will skip its regular halt at Bengaluru Cantonment.

  • Train No. 06270 (SMVT Bengaluru–Mysuru Daily Passenger Special) will also take a diverted route via SMVT Bengaluru, Banaswadi, Hebbal, Yeshwantpur, and KSR Bengaluru on April 15 and 22, bypassing Bengaluru Cantonment.

  • Train No. 11013 (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Coimbatore Daily Express) for journeys starting April 14 and 21 will skip major Bengaluru stops—Bengaluru East, Bengaluru Cantonment, and KSR Bengaluru. Instead, it will run via Gauribidanur, Yelahanka, Lottegollahalli, Yeshwantpur, Hebbal, Banaswadi, Karmelaram, and Hosur.

    • A temporary stop is scheduled at Yeshwantpur, with arrival at 9:20 PM and departure at 9:40 PM.

    Passengers are advised to check the latest train status and plan accordingly.
