Bengaluru: Kannada actress, anchor Anushri is expected to face more problems in the ongoing investigation against the drug mafia in the state.
After dancer Kishore and his friend informed the investigating agencies about the Mangalorean anchor and actor, a Nigerian peddler arrested in the case too has confessed to ave known Anushri.
According to the CCB sources, the arrested peddler informed that he has seen Anushri in many drug parties in Bengaluru.
Based on this statement, Anushri is likely to be investigated further.
Meanwhile, the Mangaluru CCB police arrested a Bengaluru based dance director. He too has revealed many details about the drug mafia and role of many businessmen and artists.
Amid police crackdown against drug mafia, Mangaluru CCB inspector Shivaprakash who had probed Anushri has been transferred. He has been replaced by Mahesh Prasad, an officer from Kapu in Udupi district.
